Can A Diabetic Patient Follow The General Motors Diet To Reduce Weight?

hi,i am a insulin dependent diabetic, since 11 yrs. am now 35 yrs. my height is 5ft and 6 inches, i am 8o kgs. i am presently taking insulin..40 units per day of humalog mix-25/75, along with glycomet gp2..3 tablets per day, 1 losar -25 mg tablet for my hypertension, and ecosprin-0.75 for borderline cholesterol. my question is can i follow the general motors diet to reduce my weight.please advise.

Yes,you can follow the general motors diet to reduce weight.But you should strictly stick to your dietary rules.
I would advice you to do regular exercises along with yoga and relaxation exercises for better control of blood pressure and diabetes.
You should do brisk walking for about 30 minutes a day that sweat should come out of your body.
Avoid all sugar containing foods.
