Can A Combination Of A Rash & Edema Cause Sunburn Type Of Allergic Reaction?
I was in hospital since Friday night and discharged this afternoon. I woke up yesterday morning and my inner thighs were inflamed & red, resembled that of a sunburn. The staff thought it might be an allergic reaction to the Johnny & hospital pants because of the strong detergents & bleach, etc. they gave me some soothing lotion & it seemed to feel better and wasn't as red. I just took shower & noticed the very inside of my thighs still look swollen & red. Could this be a combination of a rash & edema? I was in bed from Friday afternoon until this afternoon?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The rash appears to be an allergic reaction, to some thing like food, clothes, woolen, etc. Or it may be a fungal or bacterial infection, may be hospital acquired or recurrence of the previous infection. I advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms citrizine, cifixime, grisofulvin, and steroid oint ment. wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
