Hello my name is Tinisha, I m just wondering is my 8 year old son becoming addicted to the tylenol w/ codeine that was given to him by his doctor after having surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids? I feel like he looks a little doped up, help please!

Hi,
He will feel sedated while on the medication. If he is using Tylenol with codeine short term for pain after surgery, he won’t get addicted.
