Can A Bump And Bruise Formed Due To Blood Test Heal Away?

My daughter had her blood drawn in the er over a month ago. It was very, very difficult for them to get blood from her, tried different spots. Now one of the spots they tried has a little bump under her skin that you can feel and kind of feels like a bruise to her. Will this go away? Is this a blood clot?

hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum

Your daughter seems to have developed a bruise over your skin due to injury
A bruise develops due to internal tear in blood vessels and bleeding.

Just apply thrombophobe or hirudoid cream over the affected area.
Thrombophob ointment contains Heparin-Benzyl Nicotinate which improves the blood supply and prevents clots. so it will help in faster clearing of the clotted blood.
And you can give her oral vitamin C for rapid healing.
She should avoid touching the area or massaging it.

Hope it helps
