Can A Blood Transfusion Cause A Change In Behaviour?

Hi, my neighbour was 4 year old, when he had a blood transfusion from an older man. He is now 12 years, and studying in 5th grade. He has totally different habits and speech, compared to his siblings. He is also violent and arrogant. Some doctors say it is due to the blood received from older man.. is that true..? a blood is a blood isnt..? can genetic material be really altered..? if so how..?

Hi, welcome to HCM.
Your neighbour was 4 year old when he got blood transfusion from a older man and now at the age of 12 years he has violent behaviour. This has no relation to the blood transfusion.
Blood transfusion is a day to day, common procedure which is being done world wide. There is not a single study or fact which proves your doubt.
I think that child should be evaluated by a psychiatrist for treatment. I can assure you that the behavioural change is not due to blood transfusion.
I hope this has helped you. Take care.
