Can A PAP Smear Detect Pregnancy?

My daughter just gave birth with out even knowing she was pregnant. She had a PAP exam 2 months ago and has been on birth control. is it possible for a DR to do a PAP of someone 7 months along and not discover that they were pregnant?

Hello,

Pap smear does not detect pregnancy. Basically pregnancy is detected by urine pregnancy test.
