Can Wellbutrin Show A False Positive For Ecstacy?
Hi Doctor, My 29 year old daughter tested positive at work for ecstacy, is on prescribed meds of wellbutrin and abilify. She has never taken ecstacy, can this be a false positive? The lab at the hospital has sent the sample out for further testing. Her employment is dependent on the results of this test. She has recently completed residential therapy for opioids. It is very unlikely that Wellbutrin can cause a false positive for Ecstacy. They are chemically different drugs.
