Hi,

Wegner granulomatosis is an autoimmune disease that is our own body immune system attack to causes s damage in lungs and few other areas like kidney skin etc.

It's a serious condition so treatment and control is very necessary. The aim of the treatment is initially to achieve remission with a high dose of immunotherapy like steroids and cyclophosphamide.

This may take 3 to 6 months, luckily 80 percent people successfully achieve remission however still we need to continue Other drugs to continue for 2 to 5 years as there are chances of recurrence. Regular follow up is needed.

Rituximab is used in the above treatment fails. So you need to understand the disease, its cure is difficult and we need to control the disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
