Can Vyvanse Make Asthma Worse?

My 8 year old son has a previous diagnosis of asthma. He was recently prescribed Vyvance for ADHD. It seems hes been having asthma attacks nearly every night since and throwing up from coughing and being SOB. Can Vyvance exascerbate asthma symptoms or worsen asthma?

thank-you user for your query.
vyvanse is amphetamine group of drug, it might cause Nausea, vomiting, constipation, stomach/abdominal pain, loss of appetite, dry mouth, headache, nervousness, dizziness, trouble sleeping, sweating, weight loss, irritability, and restlessness. Asthma is more or less unrelated to the drug which your child is having. For asthma you can start giving him a combination of montelukast and cetrizine as this will relieve his symptoms.
If required then you may consult any pulmonologist also.
god bless
