Can UTI And I-pill Usage Affect The Baby?

Hi,
My periods are usually every 25 days and the last period was on 18th May-2011. After my marriage on 28th May-2011, being unaware that iPill is different from regular contraceptive pill, I have had unprotected sex from 29th May till 4th June. During this period I took iPill on 31th May and 3rd June.
I went through pregnancy test and results confirm that I am pregnant. I also got to know that I now suffer from severe UTI. Sonography done on 27th June indicates no heartbeat in the fetus.
I am concerned of the side effect of iPill(twice within 3 days) and UTI on the growth of baby I carry. When shall I expect heartbeat to begin in it.
Please guide me on the possible abnormalities\health issues to me or the baby and also the probablity.
Would you suggest abortion, as a better choice, considering this is my first and wanted baby?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. I pill is levonorgestrel and is not known to cause any adverse effects on the foetus, if taken inadvertently in first trimester. Urinary tract infection effects the growth of the fetus, and should be effectively treated in time.
The fetal heart beat appears in ultrasound by six weeks of pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
