Can T-Bact Ointment Be Applied Over Boil On Scalp?

Dear Dr. My head suddenly struck against hard floor about 48 hours ago. No symptom of any problem except a very very small small boil on the surface Of scalp at the Point which struck . I am applying T-Bact Ointment ? I also wish to take s course of antibiotic. Kindly advise . Thanks

T-Bact Ointment contains 'Mupirocin', which is an antibiotic. It can be used to treat small wounds which have become infected. Hence, you can use it for your scalp injury.
Also, it is advisable to keep your scalp wound clean and healthy.
You can take a course of systemic antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid along with antiinflammatory-analgesic medication like Ibuprofen.
