Can Protonix And Nature’s Thyroid Be Taken Together?
I take Nature’s Thyroid 65mg. Will this interact with Protonix? I used to take Nexium 40 mg but my insurance will no longer pay for it. I am not having the same results with Protonix as I did with Nexium. I am having burning in my esophagus even though the dosage of Protonix is 40mg. If I were to take (2) 20 mg of the OTC Nexium would that be the same as taking the prescription dosage of 40mg Nexium?

Nature thyroid has got very very low or no interactions with both Nexium and Protonix. Both can be taken safely. Your observation is right that Protonix is inferior to Nexium in terms of efficacy. As you have problem with Protonix, you can go for 2 OTC Nexium.
