Can Previfem Birth Control Cause Acne?

Acne started appearing about a week after our wedding and it s been over a month and it s getting worst! I thought it s wedding stress related but I had better skin before and during the wedding when I was in extreme stress. I m on Previfem birth control. Pls help! It s really frustrating!

I really appreciate your concern, I would like to advise you to stop the hormone medicine if this is not indicated, because it may be the cause of acne and not the stress, even avoid cosmetic too, if I would be doctor of this case then I would treat this case with "Tab Doxycycline 100 mg" once in day for 10 days, as matter of fact acne demands the long term treatment and this goes on changing from time to time and for that patient need to be in follow and it is not possible here so you need to see the dermatologist, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
