Can Phentermine Cause Menstruation Despite Taking Birth Control Pills?
Hi I have had an IUD for over a year now and have not menstruated after the first 3 months. About two weeks ago I started taking Phentermine and started experiencing brown spotting/light red blood as of 2 days ago. Can Phentermine cause menstruation to start again despite birth control or should I have my IUD checked?

IUD have nothing to do with menstruation although it is possible that if the IUD was hormonal it can cause loss of regularity for menstruation. Having said this phentermine have no connection with menstruation and it might be just a coincidence.
