Can Pediasure And Amway Protein Powder Be Given To Kids?

Mine is a general health query.. Is it okay to give Pediasure and Amway protein powderto kids (Age 2-10). Can they really boost growth (height) in kids, help brain development? Or are the kids better off without these products? A couple of pediatricians dissuaded me from using them, while many of my friends are giving these products to their children. I would like a good, informative reply. Thank you.

The final height of the child is genetically determined. The nutrition deficiency can reduce the height if the child falls in the range of malnourished category. otherwise in a healthy child no nutritional supplement can accelerate the growth unless it contains steroids which is naturally not recommended.
