General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, it is safe to be given at normal therapeutic doses.

Paracetamol drug can be given to G6PD deficient babies at the dose of 15 mg/kg every 6 hours. It is available in the form of drops or rectal suppositories.

Your baby should be examined by a pediatrician to find out the actual cause of fever and to treat it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
