Can Ofloxacin Affect Pregnancy?

Hello doctor I want to take information about ( UTI) WE ARE PLANING for a baby and had intercourse from last two day, but today morning i am having burning urination frequently . Can I take ofloxcin table ? Because I am not sure about my pregnancy as today is my 18 day after my last period.. Is it safe to take medicine now?

Hi,

You can drink plenty of fluids and consume alkaline foods. For a mild UTI these supportive measures are usually sufficient especially since your are expecting to get pregnant.

Of the symptoms are unbearable you get a urine test to see what infection you have and take antibiotics appropriately.
