General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Nyquil which consists of acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, and doxylamine) is commonly used to treat headaches, fever, cough, runny nose, sneezing, and sore throat caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.

There is no documented harmful interactions between Nyquil and Coffee. However, because of safety concerns, it is not advisable to take Nyquil just for the sake of getting 'some sleep'.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
