Can Norethisterone Tablet Be Taken For Heavy Vaginal Bleeding?

my wife is having a heavy vaginal bleeding for six days. She has been advised to take Tranexamic Acid Tablet (500 mg) six a day for 10 days. As the bleeding is not abated, now she has been advised to take Noretisterone Tablet (5mg) thrice a day for 20 days. Your comment on this.

Normally Tranexamic Acid Tablet (500 mg) is first choice drug for heavy periods as it is not working, therefore norethisterone is given to you. Don't worry it is just synthetic version of your hormone that will help reduce your heavy period.
In long run, heavy period problem happens more frequently in those women who exercise less. Exercise routine may also help to prevent this problem in future.
