Can Nexito Plus Tablet Be Continued For A Mentally Challenged Child?

My son Saptarshi is a mentally retarded child. He is 13 years old. In order to prevent obsession he has taken Nexito Plus tablet for last 3 years. Is there any side effect of that medicine? Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering about continuation of Nexito plus tablet for your child . Well there can be many side effects of this drug like nausea , heartburn , diarrhea , headache , weight loss and loss of appetite . But these side effects do not occur in every person and occur for particular dose and time period . If your doctor has prescribed this drug , he/she must have assessed every aspect carefully . So take this drug as per prescription . Still if you see any of the above mention effects in your child while on this drug , consult your doctor and discuss the condition with him . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute .
