Can Mucinex DM, Ibuprofen, And Benadryl Be Safely Taken Together?
Hi I have had drainage in the back of my throat for a couple days now. I was on Sudafed but today I called my Dr.s office and they said to start taking Mucinex DM. Is it ok to take 2 Mucinex DM,1 ibuprofen, and 1 Benadryll(to help me sleep) at the same time tonight?

Yes, you can use this combination of medication, there are no significant reactions that occur.
Mucinex dm contains guaifenesin and dextromethorphan. In some persons , benadryl can increase the level or effect of the dextromethorphan slightly but this is not thought to be significant.
