Can Metrogyl Tablets Cause Spike In Blood Sugar?
I am a diabetic and my fasting blood sugar is from 118 to 127. I am trying to reduce blood sugar by eating bitter melon, walking, and yoga. I took metrogyl for amiba problem and my morning blood sugar was 155. Does metrogyl have any relation with high blood sugar? Thanks.

Hello welcome to HCM.
Your blood sugar levels are very well controlled in general.. So continue same medication and exercise. My advice to you is -
1.For amebiasis tab Metrogyl dose is 10 days maximum.. So you don't have to worry about a short term medications.. Complete your course for amebiasis without fear.
2.Usually tab meMetrogyl will not interfere much with blood sugar levels.
3 . check your FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report every 3 monthly..
