Can Methotrexate And Diclofenac Be Taken Together?

I have recently ( 3 weeks ago ) lost hearing in my right ear. I have seen an ent dr and was on prednisone for 21 days. I then had a cortisone shot in the ear a week ago. Along with this I have had serious jaw pain and the MRI showed little cartilage on the condyle bone. I have seen a TMJ who suggested an orthotic appliance. I am taking methotrexate and cymsia shot once a month. I wasn t sure if I can take melixicam and diclofen. Would appreciate your advice.

Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that I understand you are taking methotrexate and Prednisone for rheumatoid arthritis as you have not mentioned the indication. You can take diclofenac or melixicam for pain relief . It is advisable to take a antacid like Tab Ranitidine along with this to prevent any gastric distress. I hope that answers your question.
