Can Marijuana Be Taken While On Nitrofurantoin Mono-MCR?

Hello,

I have been taking Nitrofurantoin Mono-MCR 100 mg for 6 days (2 a day) to cure UTI. I have one more to take tonight and 2 left just for tomorrow and I am done.

Is it possible for me to smoke marijuana today? Would it affect me? Or would it not affect me since I'm already feeling better and one more day of treatment?

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Marijuana is a drug and may interact with your medication even though much about this interaction has not been published.I will advise you stay away from marijuana and complete your treatment.
Also, marijuana may be harmful to your health if addicted to it.I will advise you stay away from it if you have not be addicted to it or if addicted to it, you see your Doctor for a chat on how to wean yourself from it with minimal side effects.
Hope this will help
Best regards
