Can Levozal And Panderm Be Used For The Treatment Of Scalp Acne?

Hi doctor. In very hot weather, I applied a mixture of crashed sesame seed and almond oil to my hairs ans scalp for almost 3 week. Due to this mixture i have red pimples on my scalp. Can i use Panderm Skin Ointment with Levozal tablet for above mention problem? Thank you in anticipation.

Hi,

Since it is very hot at your place you should take showers 2-3 times a day. Use a medicated shampoo (Selsun-Selenium Disulfide) to get rid of the acne in your scalp.

Yes, you can take antihistamines (Levozal). Be careful while using Panderm skin ointment as sometimes it causes side effects that may increase our discomfort.

Eat yogurt, cucumbers, fruits & berries with porridge. Avoid non-vegetarian items for a couple of days till your scalp gets healed. Hope I have answered your query. Take care.
