Can Levitra Taken Before Intercourse Reduce Chances Of Heart Attacks?
I am 59 years old and my concern is that during intense sex< I might suffer from heart attack. My latest heart check based on calcium score is on moderate where the score is 250. That was done i yr ago. Pse advice as Every time before sex I will take 1 pill of Levitra and sometimes more than 20 gm.
hello, studies have shown that drugs like Levitra can be protective of the heart after a heart attack and decreases the amount of damage caused by the heart attack. However there is still a lot of research that needs to be done in this area before doctors would recommend drugs like Levitra for anything other than its current indications. A person taking Levitra would potentially suffer less damage to their heart if they were to suffer a heart attack than a person not taking Levitra but this has not been proven yet by rigorous studies. There is lack of sufficient data to suggest that these drugs prevent heart attacks. Currently these medications are not indicated for heart protection.
thank you
