Can Krimson Be Taken For Pimples When Suffering From PCOD?

Hello doctor...I am 24 years old n I m suffering from pcod since I was 18. It all started when I got pimples on my cheeks though my period was regular and its always been. After consulting a gynac, she prescribed me to take krimson 35 which I started in 2008 and stopped in 2013 after doing an ultrasound which showed very mild pcod and hence she prescribed me to take Ovral -L.. I took that for almost a year now but pimples were still appearing.Last month I stopped ovral and waited to see if everythingz alright..Menstrual cycle was on date but more acne and pimples on my face and its extending to neck. So I would like to know through this platform if I should continue again with Krimson35 or take some other medicine??? Thank you...waiting for your response

Yes, KRIMSON 35 can be taken to reduce acne/ pimple problem and regularize monthly cycle. It contains Cyproterone acetate (anti-androgen component) as active ingredient which helps to normalize testosterone level (main reason of acne prone face).

Beside this, you have to maintain a healthy life style with balanced diet, avoid fast/ spicy foods, keep bowel habit regular, consume more water, control body wt, avoid stress & take sound sleep. Clean your face with soap free face wash 2-3 times daily. Do regular cleansing, toning and moisturizing of skin. Take antioxidant (Vit E), apply benzoyl peroxide 5% or clindamycin cream.
