Shelcal-ct and Supradyne contains calcium, Multivitamin including Vitamin D along with minerals and trace elements. They can be used as adjuvant medicines for sometimes for speedy recovery from surgery. However they are not necessary for prolonged use for months together provided if you are taking balanced diet i.e if a diet contains adaquate green leaf vegetables and fruits. Generally there is no need for vitamin supplements. Since you are healthy person and more than 7 months were over after surgery, I suggest that you may include diet as suggest above instead of taking these vitamin supplements. Further there is risk of overdose of vitamins leading to toxicity. For example the daily requirement of vitamin A is 800mg, but Multivitamin preparation such as supradyn contains about 3000micrograms. Thus there is a risk of vitamin overdose when they are taken for prolonged period.
