Can I Take Refrigerated Typhi Oral Vaccine?

I was to take typhoid oral vaccine and didn t know they needed refrigeration. If the typhoid pills were kept in a cool place but not refrigerated, and I have already gone out of the country, upon my return should I start the series again as a preventative? Will it do any good to protect, even if I am asymptomatic?

Hi...once out of refrigerator and cold chain the vaccine becomes ineffective. You need to restart the dose again. I suggest you go for injectable typhoid vaccine than oral typhoid vaccine.
