Can I Take Paracetamol For Fever Due To Typhoid?
Hi, i am Anil and i am 42 yrs old. my ht 172cm and wt 68kg. after 1 week of fever, yesterday I have been diagnosed as having Typhoid. this was confirmed thru blood culture test. i have started taking Ceftriaxone 2gm injection twice a day for 10 days, starting yesterday. But i am still getting fever at 5-6 hour intervals. Will i continue to get fever till the end of injection course? Can i take paracetamol whenever i get fever? Please advise. As far as my medical history is concerned, this is the biggest illness that i have got till now.

Since you are having fever,you can take paracetamol thrice a day or as per doctor's advice.
After starting antibiotics,it will take 2-4 days to subside your symptoms like fever.
You need not to worry.
All you need to do take complete course of medication as per doctor advice.
