Can I Take Oxycodone And Oxycontin For Have Chronic Pain?

hello, i relocated and i have chronic pain and have been taking TWO TYPES WHICH ARE 60mg oxycontin ER, AND THE OXYCODONE HCL 3O MG. HE DIDN T REFILL THE 60 MG MEDS , AND HE CUT THE AMOUNT IN HALF OF MY OXYCODONE HCL , DOWN TO 20 MG I REFILLED THE 20 MG AND NOTICED IT LOOK DIFFERENT THAN THE 20 MG. THAT I WAS TAKING FOR A FEW YEARS , THESE ARE ROUND AND GRAY AND IMPRINTED ON ONE SIDE IS N P THE OTHER HAS 14 , ARE THESE GENERIC ? THEY ARE MANUFACTURED BY ZYDUS PHARMACEUTICALS . I VE HAD SEVERE HEADACHES FROM THESE.

I have gone through your query. Oxycontin is also oxycodone which is the generic drug. But oxycontin ER has extended release which gives a long term pain relief. The headache you have is most likely due to sudden decrease of dosage. You should approach your GP for tapering the dosage down if you want to decrease the dosage. If you send a picture of the drug then i can help you about whether generic or not. Usually the code written NP 14 is oxycodone 20mg only.
