Can I Take Janumet For Stomach Pain Having Been Diagnosed With Prediabetes?
Hi,I was diagnosed with prediabetic in 2009 (Fasting 158 & PP 178).Consequently I left sugar and started taking precautions. It camedown consistently to Fasting 100 & PP around 145 on Glucometer. However I consulted a Doctor, an endocrinologist, due to persistent stomach problem in 2009 end. He advised me to go on Janumet (50 mg/500 mg) twice a day before BF & Dinner with a view that some of my body system has damaged and it would prevent any damage afterwards. Al went well for 5 years, but now I am finding sugar levels raised now to around 130-135 fasting and 165-175 PP on glucometer. Do I need to change medicine or what precaution I should take. I have felt that my Doctor has tendency to put people on medicines and he does not pay much attention.
