I have been taking one pill a day of doxycycline for about a year. I just started taking ortho trycycline 4 days ago as I was told it to will help with acne. I take the b.c around 8pm.. and am wondering if the headaches im getting around midnight are normal. Also, do i need another form of b.c while on the doxycyline?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are taking acne and headaches and you are taking doxycycline and you took trycycline along with that which is a safest combination to use. I would suggest you to start any medication after proper prescription. Beside that you should wash your face with face-wash containing salicylic acid , exfoliate your skin once a week. You should apply raw honey on acne for 15 minutes daily and then wash , drink plenty of water and eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. If symptoms keep son persisting visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Micro-abrasion, peeling and dermabrasion are other methods to remove acne.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
