Can I Take Arachitol O, Nuroday, Celadrin And Macvestin For Osteoporosis?

Hi..... I need a ill assistance...

My mother is 54 years and she is top heavy ( overweight with thin legs) and she is recently suffering from starting stages of oestoprites (arthritis). Her weight is approx 70 kg and 5 feet in height.

She has been experiencing pain in her knee and has been advised Arachitol O, Neuroday, Celadrin and another medicine called macvestin.

I am just worried whether this dosage is excessive and would have any side effects. Kindly reply at the earliest

Hi,
All the drugs in question are nutritional supplements. They can help improve the nutritional wellbeing of the joints and also wholly.
If osteoporosis is also present increased risk of fracture is possible, you can get a confirmation by bone mineral density test.
If it is positive, biphosphonate group of treatment can be started after a prescription from your doctor.
Life style modification for both osteoarthritis and osteoporosis include weight loss, nutritional diet and muscle building/maintaining light exercises.
For osteoarthritis, additionally joint support can be used.
