Hello, I am 20 and have had amenorrhea for over a year which I believe is caused due to stress. I have an extremely active life style but struggle to lose weight. I have had scans and blood tests and shown I don't have PCOS, I have been prescribed Cilest but am concerned and would rather not resort to going onto the pill, is there anything else I could do?
Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM Since you have been amennorhic for the past one year and all your reports have been normal. That is why your doctor suggested you a combination of estrogen and progesterone .But dear there is no other option . Once you start getting regular cycle , gradually this will be withdrawn. hope you do not get disheartened Till then take care
