Hi me n my gf had protected sex(with condoms)..on sat 20th.,.but she was worried so she took unwanted 72 ipill on sunday night .i.e 21st ..after 5 day she is got her chums(period)...but her normal date was aftr 8th of nxt month...is this normal?when will she hv her nxt period? Is anything to wory about?
Please do not worry. It is common for periods to be irregular after use of unwanted 72. Some women have an early period while some may have delayed periods.
It would be difficult to predict the date of next period but if the bleeding now was similar to a normal period, the next period may come 21 of next month or be delayed for a few days. If the bleeding now was low, the next one may come on the date of her regular periods.
There is nothing to worry about. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have. Dr Madhuri Bagde Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist
