Welcome to HCM.
Nebulizer will not that much helpful because baby can not take proper inspiration effective dose.Continue current medicines but you have to give chlorpheniramine maleat, phenylephrine and paracitamol drops under guidance of your doctor.
saline nasal drops will be helpful if he is having blockage of nose due to congestion.
Keep in touch with your doctor.

Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Salbutamol nebulization is given in cough with associated bronchospasm which is seen in conditions such as asthma and bronchiolitis.

For simple cold and cough, salbutamol nebulization is not required.

Instead you can give normal saline nebulization which will give soothing effect on respiratoiry tract and cause relief from the cough.

Continue the rest of medication as per the pediatrician advise.

Consult the pediatrician again for follow up to assess her respirations and lungs.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
