Dear ,

Starting with positrim will not help u to shed weight as ur primary problem is Hypothyroidism.Because u have hypothyroidism ,your basal metabolic rate drops down resulting in Obesity inturn in iniatially bring ur thyroid level to normal by taking a dose of ELTROXIN/THYRONOM.Once u bring ur thyroid level to normal then things start working.

things to follow to control thyroid along with medications

avoid vegetables from crusifera family such as cabbage, cauliflower, brocoli.sarvangasana is the best yogasana to be practised.keep a neutral pack wrapped over ur neck for 20 mins.

For PCOD and Weight reduction

-go for strict diet control-alternate 2-3 days juice fasting recomended

-add foods rich in estrogen

-Hip bath (20 mins )

-Hot foot bath (20 mins )

-practise Surya Namaskara daily atleast 12 rounds.

get well soon !! wishing u a speedy recovery !!
