ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
For 7 yrs old child 100mg two times a day will do.
In addition to the antibiotic, you can also give him antihistaminic and decongestant syrups.
For ear infection decongestants are required as they will decrease the edema in the skin of middle part of ear and will help in sooner recovery.
The decongestant will also decrease the ear discharge if present and also will open up the tube which connects the middle part of ear to the back of nose.It will help in draining the fluid collection in middle part of ear.
In doubt do reply.
