Can I Get Pregnant With Unprotected Sex?

Hi I m 15 and I have made a horrible decision to have unprotected sex, I have taken the morning after pill but they said it may not work as I took it at around the 60 hour mark. My period is due on the 20th and I was just wondering if there was anyone I could talk to incase I am pregnant?

Hello,
If you happen to have regular 28-30 day cycles and if you happened to have the intercourse just after or just before a period, then you are safe and cannot get pregnant. If it happened around mid-cycle, then you stand a chance for conception and in which instance, you will miss your next period. As you have used the emergency contraceptive, you may expect your next period to get delayed by a week or two as the pill creates hormonal imbalance in the body. If you do not see your next period even after ten days after it is due, you should see a specialist for further help. Hope this helps.
