Can I Drink Alcohol With Terbinafine?
I am taking terbinifide and I will be going to a gathering of work mates in a couple of weeks.. If I have a few alcoholic drinks, will it affect the terbinifide.. or my health; as I know terbinifide could be harsh on a persons liver.. I do not drink only on occasion with friends so the one night that we go out to this gathering will probably be the only time during my taking of the terbinifide. One of the important side effects of Terbinafine is liver injury which may result in liver failure. Liver problems may be more likely to occur if you drink alcohol or alcoholic beverages while you are taking this medicine. Besides, alcohol itself itself is toxic to liver. So, you should not drink alcohol/alcoholic beverages while you are taking this medicine.
