Can I take Cefuroxime axetil tablets in the place of Ciprobay tablets as a precaution against infection before TRUS biopsy ? Thanks in advance.

Cefuroxime axetil can be used before surgery or any procedure like TRUS biopsy.But you will need to inform your doctor before changing medications.
