Hi Shalaani,
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
At the outset I would like to begin with a note that because of the safety concerns, FDA has not approved the use of hCG for the purpose of losing the excess of body weight.
It is
human chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone produced during pregnancy. As a prescription medication, it is approved only for the treatment of
infertility.
Following side effects are seen with the use of hCG:
Constipation, headache, depression, leg cramps, & thinning or loss of hairs.
Other serious adverse effects reported with the use of hCG are
thromboembolism (high risk of clot formation in the blood vessels), edema (accumulation of body fluids) & enlargement and rupture of ovarian cysts.
If
weight loss is your goal, there are safer ways to lose weight like eating a healthy balanced diet thus avoiding fast/junk foods, alcohol, salted snacks, sweetened carbonated drinks, and getting regular exercise.
Hope in view about the side effects of hCG, the suggestions given above could be of great help to you in getting the weight reduction without using hCG drops.
