Can Gabapentin Treat Depression As A Symptom Of Methadone?
I m in methadone for maintenance and have been for many years .my dose is 160 mgs a day and was wanting to take some gabapentin to see if it lifts my mood at all seeing as I m hopelessly depressed from the methadone I m on .the first few years were great on methadone then it turned on me and makes me lazy and depressed so now I m looking for speed and antidepressants . hoping gabapentin is the answer to both of those problem s

no, one would use an antidepressant for depression. Gabapentin treats seizures. There was more money in damping down nerves that cause pain so it was used in that. Depression is pretty common.
