Can Gabaneuron Tablet Cause Nausea And Palpitations?
Hi Doctor, My mother in law aged 60 who is also diabetic has been given Gabaneuron 100 for her complain about pain starting from her right knee to her toes. What is this medicine given for? After having two tablets yesterday afternoon and evening today she is complaining of nausea, heaviness in her head and heavy heart beats. Can this be a side effect of the medicine? She has been advised to take it after meal morning evening a day for one month. Along with this Ultracet as SOS for pain.

Gabaneuron 100 is gabapentin given for neuropathic pains like in conditions of diabetes.
It can cause dizziness , nausea and increased heart beat and blood pressure as a side effect. ultracet contains tramadol .When gabapentin is given along with ultracet it may sometimes incease dizziness and drowsiness.
Kindly consult the physician regarding the side effects immediately for change in medications or dose regulation.
