Can Flucloxacillin And Sudafed Be Taken Together?

Can I take Flucloxacillin and sudafed together? I have got the flu but am on flucloxacillin to prevent an infection not related to the flu. I also think I am suffering with acute sinusitis due to the flu- I have a very blocked ear and both my nose and throat are very painful.

hi sir/mam,there is no known interaction between flucloxacillin and sudafed.you can take both safely.for the nasal congestion and sinusitis, steam inhalation is the best home remedy that can be done along with above medication.if any discharge from ear like pus, blood etc, please do go for an ENT consultation without delay as it may be a perforation of tympanic membrane in ear.hope my answer clears your doubts.any further queries, please do write to us.i'l be prompt in answering you.thank you.take care.bye.
