Can Excedrin Be Taken For Headache, After Having Zicam Rapidmelts Tablets?
I have taken 2 doses of Zicam Rapid melts. The last was around 1pm. I m concerned about side effects. I have a severe headache now and need to know if I van take excedrin for the headache or prescription ibuprofen? I have also been taking amoxicillin 500mg my last dose was today. My head hurts so bad almost like a migraine , making it impossible to relax and get any rest.
You can take either Excedrin or ibuprofen for a headache. Don't take both of them. Neither ibuprofen nor Excedrin interacts with Zicam.
Zicam is composed of zinc components that are used to bust immunity in cases of common cold or flu. Take Ibuprofen for a common headache and Excedrin if a migraine headache.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
