Can Endogest And Hucog 5000 Injection Be Taken During Pregnancy?

hi i am sandhya, and i hd completed my 5th month pregnancy for today but doctor said tht i hd conceived 2 weeks later and after sum spotting of blood in vagina whn i was 3rd month pregnant she suggested me to take hucog 5000 injection till today i am taking it and she also suggested to take endogest sr 300 tablets till the delivery date is i am safe in taking this injection and the tablets

Hi, I think hucog injection and endogenous are safe in pregnancy, but these are given till 12 weeks of pregnancy only. These are given to support the pregnancy. After 12 weeks, placenta secretes hcg and progesterone enough to support the pregnancy further. So, generally these are required till 12 weeks. Discuss with your doctor regarding this. Take strict bed rest.
