Can Eliquis Be Taken While On Amlodipine Besylate And Metoprolol Succinate?

I have taken Effexor XR 75mg and 37.5 mg wily for at least 10 years. I also taae Advil and or Tylenol daily for joint pain associated with a high ANA, as yet undiagnosedd autoimmunue disordderr. In addition I have tKen aspirin daily for afib. My doctor now wants me to stop the aspirin and begin taking Eliquis, 5mg 2x s parr day. Is this safe with my other drugs? I also take amlodipine besylate and metoprolol succinate. Thanks

Hi,

You are right, care should be taken in using other drugs while being on eliquis. However, the drugs you mentioned do not commonly cause any major interaction with it and eliquis can be used with them.
