Can Ecosprin Be Discontinued Abruptly?

Hi, my father has undergone angioplasty in Nov 2007 at the age of 49 and from 2007 he has itching and acidity problems and from some time he is not comfortable in breathing properly. From 2007, he takes ecospirin 150 mg and clopidogrel 75 mg. Is it suitable to stop ecospirin after 9 years of regular dose or it creates any problem?

Hello,

Please note that after angioplasty, ecosiprin is to be taken. You may decrease the dosage from 150 mg to 50 mg.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
